Who do I contact — my church or Keryva?

Church matters go to your church: membership, events, departments, giving, attendance questions, pastoral care and anything your church itself runs. Use Contact my church, where your church's own contact details are also shown. Keryva Help & Support is for problems with the platform itself: you can't sign in, a page is broken, something errors, or you have found a bug. Church administrators can also raise account, billing and subscription questions with Keryva.

What is Keryva?

Keryva is a church management and engagement platform. Each church manages its own members, departments and groups, services and events, attendance, family/children records and department announcements. Churches only ever see their own data.

How do I join another church?

Open My churches (under the church name in the sidebar) and choose Find a church, or use your church's invitation link or QR code. Your request is created as pending until a church admin approves it.

How do I switch churches?

If you belong to more than one church, use the church switcher at the top of the sidebar. Everything you see — members, services, attendance — then reflects the church you selected.

How do I leave a church?

Open My churches (under the church name in the sidebar) and choose to leave the church you no longer attend. Historical records stay with the church; you simply lose access to them.

How do I manage my profile?

Go to My profile in the sidebar to update your name, contact details, date of birth and photo. Church staff can also update member details from the Members area.

How do I add children?

On My profile, open Family & Children and add a child with their name, date of birth, optional gender and your relationship to them. Children do not have logins or email addresses.

How does child attendance work?

When you check in for a service, you can tick which of your linked children are with you. Each child is recorded as their own attendance entry, so service totals count every person present.

How does QR attendance work?

Staff open a service and display its QR code. Scanning it opens a public check-in page where you choose Member (sign in and check yourself and your children in) or Visitor/Guest (leave your details as a first-time visitor). Each person can only be checked in once per service.

How do Services & Events work?

Staff create services and events under Services & Events. Services support attendance and QR check-in; events can repeat annually. Everyone in the church can see what is coming up.

How do Departments & Groups work?

Accepted Answer

Staff create departments or groups, assign leaders and add members. Your memberships appear on your profile. Departments can be archived when they are no longer active.

Who can send department announcements?

Accepted Answer

Department leaders and church admins can send announcements to the members of that department. Everyone else sees them read-only. Announcements are kept as a history on the department page.

Something is not working — how do I get help?

If it is Keryva itself (sign-in trouble, an error, a bug), sign in and use Keryva Help & Support. If it is about your church — events, membership, departments, giving — use Contact my church instead; your church administrators receive it and Keryva does not see it.

Who to ask
